Coronation Competitions
Best Dressed
Residents and businesses are encouraged to decorate their property to mark the Coronation.
Prizes of £250 will be awarded to:
- Best dressed house
- Best dressed school
- Best dressed pub / restaurant
- Best dressed business
Photos of the nominated property should be submitted to community@broxbourne.gov.uk by Monday 1 May. Entries should include the name of the person making the nomination and the address of the property (including postcode). Properties will be visited in the week leading up to the Coronation and winners will be announced after.
Photographic Competition
Local photographers are encouraged to participate in this year’s photography competition, capturing how the Borough celebrated the coronation of King Charles III.
The photographs must be taken within the Borough boundaries and should be taken by a Borough resident. The winning entry will receive two tickets to a show of their choice at the Spotlight in Hoddesdon.
Photos submitted may be used by the Council to further publicise the Borough and the Coronation programme, and will be retained and stored in the Lowewood Museum archive.
To enter please email your photographs to communications@broxbourne.gov.uk with the subject ‘Coronation Photo Competition’. Send your full name and address, as well as the location. The deadline for entries is Monday 22 May 2023.
