Join the self-build and custom housebuilding register
The Council maintains a register of people who want to buy a serviced plot of land in the Borough to build a home. Applicants who join the register benefit by receiving details of available plots from landowners and developers.
To join the register you must be:
- aged 18 or over
- a British citizen or a citizen with EU settled status in the UK
- seeking, either alone or with others, to acquire a serviced plot of land in the Borough to build a home
- able to demonstrate a local connection
If you are making a joint application one person needs to be appointed to act as lead contact for the purposes of correspondence between the Council and the joint applicants.
