Welcome to the Borough of Broxbourne
The Council stepped up environmental enforcement at the
beginning of September 2010 following a widespread publicity
campaign to inform residents of the Council’s partnership with
XFOR.
A free festival celebrating the diverse
communities who live and work within the Borough of Broxbourne
takes place on Sunday 12 September between 12noon and 5pm in Cedars
Park, Cheshunt.
The Council has published the pre-submission
version of the Core Strategy, which
sets out a vision for the future of Broxbourne.
Representations from the public and businesses can be made until
Friday 15 October.
The White Water Canoe Slalom events at the London 2012 Olympic
Games will take place at Lee Valley White Water Centre near Waltham
Cross, in the heart of Lee Valley Regional Park.
New images released by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) show
water now beginning to fill the new white water canoe centre
for the London 2012 Games. The venue is on track to be completed
later this year as the first brand new 2012 venue to be
finished.
